What Customers Say About Burn Your Playhouse Down: The Unreleased Duets:

And of course, the duet of he and Tammy was fabulous. This is a fantastic song, and I hope Georgette will release her own album soon.Georege's vocals are impeccable on this album. Leon Russell just didn't "cut the mustard" on this duet, in my opinion. I'm so disappointed it didn't happen.

First and foremost, I was totally devasted that this CD did NOT include a duet with TANYA TUCKER as was advertised. Over all, I'm glad I purchased it, if for no other reason than to hear Georgette's voice, which is awesome. Some of the other songs would have been better had he sang them with a female artist, such as, "I Always Get Lucky With You". I've been waiting years to hear George and Tanya do a duet and this cd was promoted as having including one, but it did not.Georgette's duet with her Dad was AWESOME.

I think it could have been released as a single and hit the top 10 on radio play. I was very disappointed he didn't do the duet as promised with Tanya. She does sound alot like her mother in some places, but she definately inherited the vocal talents from both parents. however, I think RickyShelton did a better job on the duet with Dolly Parton on "Rockin' Years".Tanya Tucker sang "Window Up Above" at George Jone's 75th Birthday tribute, and this would have been the best duet for George and Tanya.

was most excellent. I especially liked the duets with Leon Russel and Marty Stuart and "I Always Get Lucky With You" with Mark Knoffler (sp). I loved this album. It is George Jones at his best.

I saw him live just a few years ago in a small venue in Spokane, WA, and his voice is was "smooth as whiskey" and true to the songs that we all love. George Jones is country music. The duet with his daughter (and Tammy Wynette's daughter) is amazing. So a new release from George, who knows a good country song, is a joy to hear.

Country will always be at the top of my list. "I always get lucky" with George. Good music is good music in any genre. I love a wide variety of music from hard rock to classic country, the old crooners like Dean Martin to the fun music of Britany Spears.

She is a great talent. I know there are writers out there with songs that should be heard through these amazing voices, but I'm not hearing many of those. This CD is George at his best. I love many of today's country artists, but some of their songs sound so generic, no originality and soul.

If your a George Jones fan, this Cd is a must. Her voice is much like her mother's and when she and George sing together it's magic. And the rest of the duets are great with great artists.

Songs you know, by people you know with a kick. You can tell by the cover it will have kick and it does not let you down. Great classic Jones duets with a wide variety of artists. Excellent updating of some great old songs.

SS never received the product - DHL said they delivered, we were home all day and never received it. I am bummed out about it - since I paid for the product and extra for next day delivery.
